Having previously worked as a teacher, I have a strong understanding of how school‑based challenges can affect the mental health of children and young people - and, equally, how their mental health can influence attendance, friendships and academic progress.
I draw on this experience when working 1:1 with children and young people online, and I also collaborate closely with schools and colleges to provide in‑house CBT support.
My work involves partnering with children, young people, adults, parents and carers, schools and GPs to ensure each individual receives joined‑up, thoughtful care. I hold an enhanced DBS for working with both children and adults.
Depending on the child/young person, CBT may not always be suitable. In these cases, we are able to work directly with the parents instead to teach the strategies and skills which are needed to support the mental health needs of their child. Please contact us to find out more.
We are able to offer in-house CBT for individuals or small groups of children and young people at schools/colleges in Cumberland. Please contact us to find out more.
CBT is offered remotely via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp video call or telephone.
Online (remote video or phone) CBT: £70 per hourly session
